Golf Tip #8: Record Your Game Stats

Keen golfers keep details of their games. They record the number of putts, the number of greens in regulation, the number of fairways hit, up and down from a bunker, chips from the edge and their scores.

Golfers could improve their games and lower their scores if they keep statistics and took subsequent action on these areas:

1. How often in their rounds did they follow their planned routine?
2. How many times were they physically and mentally prepared for their next shot?
3. How long did it take them to get over a poor shot?
4. How many times did they praise themselves after a good shot?
