Golf Tip #5: Golf Grips

How are your grips looking? Hard, shiny or cracked? If they are, maybe it’s time for a change.

At this time of the year your grips are likely to get quite slippery from sweat and moisture. The general rule for grips is that if you play golf once a week, then you should get a new set of grips once a year.

When you do that, check with your pro to ensure that you get the right size grip for you.

You should also clean your grips with a brush and water each time before you play. There’s no need to use detergent unless you haven’t cleaned them for a while.
