Ian Robertson is a certified Level IV Master Golf Teaching Professional with the Australian Golf Teachers Federation (AGTF) since 2004.
The AGTF is part of the World Golf Teachers Federation which was founded by the USGTF in 1989, and is the largest organisation of golf teaching professionals in the world.
Ian began his golfing career at the age of 17, where he commenced his traineeship at the Nambour Golf Club. In 1997 he was then appointed at the Whitsunday Golf Club as club professional and manager.

Ian quickly realised his passion and ability to teach golf, and in 1998 he was club professional at Tanawha Valley Golf up until 2010.

Ian has recently been acknowledged for his golf teaching skills and has been included in the top 100 teachers in the world from 22,000 members.

Some of Ian’s achievements include;

- At 16, was the youngest club champion in Australia;

- Held several course records, including Whitsunday
Golf Club;

- Attained a WGTF Master Teaching Professional
Certification in 2006;

- His junior programme highly regarded;

- 1 of only 16 WGTF Master Teaching
Professionals in Australia.

ABOUT GLENVIEW

Glenview is a relaxed, laid-back, 9 hole par 3 golf course which is open to the public 7 days a week (with a relaxed dress code and no booking required).

Lessons are conducted within the tranquil surroundings, away from the pressures of a ‘big club scene’, allowing you to be totally at ease with the learning process, which enhances the speed at which your game can start improving.
